Race Recap: Hickory & Newport

It was a doubleheader weekend for the Highlands Motorsports team as we hit the track at Hickory Motor Speedway and Newport Speedway back-to-back.

The Appalachian Sucker Punch 96 Chevy brought home a P13 finish at Hickory on Thursday, May 22. From there, we headed to Newport, where a suspension issue set us back and led to a P15 finish.

Not the results we were aiming for, but we’re ready to regroup and come back strong at Madison Speedway on June 13. 👊
